After-School Enrichment Program Curriculum

Program Overview


Our after-school enrichment program is designed to provide a well-rounded and engaging experience for students. We offer a variety of activities that cater to different interests and abilities, including homework support, sports, creative arts, and skill-building classes. The program is open to students of all ages and skill levels, with a focus on fostering personal growth, teamwork, and a love for learning. After School Enrichment Program Curriculum Academic Support also provide a structured environment for completing homework, fostering responsibility and time management. Physical Development: Introduce various sports and physical activities
to promote overall health and fitness. Artistic E
xpression: Encourage creativity through dance, sewing, and
music, allowing students to explore their artistic interests. Life Skills: Teach practical skills like cooking and sewing, empowering
students with valuable life abilities. Discipline and Confidence: Offer martial arts, gymnastics, and performance opport
unities to build discipline and self-confidence. Social Interaction: Promote teamwork, communication, and cooperation through group activities.
Well-Rounded Experience: Expose students to a diverse range of activities, helping them discover their passions and talents.

Homework Support and Physical Activities

Homework Support (Daily, 1 hour)
Dedicated time for Homework Support: Trained tutors will assist students with their homework, offering guidance in various subjects and helping them develop effective study habits.

 

Mondays – Fridays (Excluding Wednesdays)
2:30pm - 4:30pm
2:30pm - 3:00pm (Cool down time, stretch, Eat)
4:00pm - 4:30pm (Quiet time, reading)

 

Information Technology/Computer Studies
Wednesday (once a week)

4;30pm -6pm

 

Farming/Agriculture (building an ideal kitchen garden)
Saturdays (7am – 8am) (once a week) monthly fee $100
Small Scale marketing of agricultural products
Saturdays (8am – 9am) (once a week) monthly fee $100

 

Swimming ($20) monthly
Saturdays 8am
(Once a week, 1 hour each):

Basic swimming skills, water safety, and stroke development.


Track & Field (Mondays & Wednesdays) monthly ($25)
4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Twice a week, (2hrs hour each)


Soccer (Mondays & Wednesdays) Monthly ($25)
4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
Twice a week, 2hrs hour each):
Introduction to soccer fundamentals including dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork.

Basketball (3times a week, 1 hour each) $25 monthly
Mondays & Tuesdays (3pm to 5pm)
Saturdays (8am –9:30am)
Basic basketball techniques such as dribbling, shooting, defense, and team strategies.

Creative, Culinary Arts, Cooking, Baking (once a week) $20 monthly
Saturdays (10am – 11am)
Kid-friendly cooking lessons, focusing on safety, nutrition, and creating simple, tasty dishes, and exploring the art of baking delicious treats.

 

Dancing once a week, 1 hour each) $20
11am-12pm
Introduction to different dance styles, rhythm, coordination, and basic choreography.

 

Sewing (1 a week, 1 hour each) $20
11am – 12pm
Basics of sewing, learning to create simple projects while developing fine motor skills.

 

Music (Twice a week,) $20 monthly
Introduction to basic music concepts, rhythm, and interactive sessions with different musical instruments. Fitness and

 

Skill Development Jujitsu (once a week, 1 hour each) $80 monthly
Tuesdays & Thursdays (5pm-6pm)

Introduction to the fundamentals of jujitsu, emphasizing discipline, self- control, and basic self-defense techniques.

 

Gymnastics Mondays & Wednesday (5pm-6pm) 50 monthly
(Twice a week, 1 hour each)
Basic gymnastics movements, flexibility exercises, and introductory routines.


Tennis (Twice a week, 1 hour each) $20 monthly
Saturdays (9am -10am)

Tennis fundamentals including grip, strokes, footwork, and friendly matches.


Music (Steel pan) $20 monthly

Once a week 1 hour each
Building upon earlier music lessons, potentially introducing some simple music composition or ensemble activities

 

Career Guidance

Developing critical employability skills needed for the workplace
Monday & Wednesday 4:30 pm – 6pm

 

Naturalization Classes
English Naturalization/A2 Classes (requirements for passport)
Tuesday & Thursdays 8pm - 9:30pm


Dutch Naturalization/ A2 Classes (requirements for Dutch Passport)

Program Extras: 4pm-5pm
Weekly Fun Day (Mind and Body (These activities focus on discipline, physical well-being and fun)

 

Each Friday, engage students in team-building activities, educational games, or creative projects related to the program themes.


Field Trip (Mid-program): Organize an educational outing related to one of the program activities, such as visiting a local farm for cooking ingredients or a music workshop.

 

End-of-Program Showcase: Celebrate the students achievements with a showcase event where they can demonstrate their skills in dancing, music, sewing, and more to parents and peers.

School Garden

Program Goals:

Provide a safe and nurturing environment for students after school.
Promote academic success through homework support.
Encourage physical fitness and healthy lifestyle choices.
Cultivate creativity and artistic expression.
Build teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence through sports and martial arts.
Develop culinary skills and an understanding of nutrition.
Offer optional Saturday classes for further skill development.

 

Note: This curriculum is flexible and can be adjusted based on the age
group and specific interests of the students. Additionally, certified instructors and tutors will be employed to ensure the highest quality of instruction and support.
